Unboxing A Zoetrope

Part of a new Youtube strategy for the University of Florida, we wanted to create a video series that followed the formula of an “unboxing” video mixed with the unearthed treasures from UF library’s vast archives and collections.

My main role was producer, director and editor.

Jillaine unboxes an antique zoetrope from Special Collections in Smathers Library at the University of Florida. She is later joined by special guest Suzan Alteri, an Associate University Librarian, to help Jillaine assemble the zoetrope and spin it around. The zoetrope comes from the Baldwin Library of Historical Children's Literature.

Metrics

Not a particularly “popular” video. We primarily wanted to keep this video within Youtube… so no shares on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. We wanted to respect the platform and genre. Series is ongoing.

As far as editing goes, this showcases my chops within Adobe Premiere. Proud of this one.
